Catholic Rejection of the Holy Eucharist

According to the Gospel of Luke, the first person in history to say “Yes” to the Body of Christ, is the Virgin Mary during the Annunciation.

This was her “Fait” her “Yes” her “Amen.”

In the Catholic Church, at the Mass, we also go up to receive the Holy Eucharist.  The Catholic Priest asks each of us, “Body of Christ” and our response is “Amen.”  Amen confirming we believe the very words of Jesus Christ, that the Holy Eucharist is indeed exactly what Jesus said the Blessed Bread and Blessed Blood are:

His Body & His Blood.”

According to the Gospel of Luke, something similar happened at the First Mass held in the Upper Room during the Passover Meal.  Here Jesus Christ Institutes the Holy Eucharist by taking Bread, Blessing Bread, Breaking Bread and saying the words of institution:  This is My Body….  This is My Blood…..”  After which he gives this Blessed Bread to the 12 Apostles who accept it as what Christ Jesus said it is.  Then one of them, who first accepted this Blessed Bread from the very hand of Jesus Christ, then rejects this Blessed Bread.  We know this Apostle as Judas Iscariot.

The rejection of the Apostle Judas to the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ Jesus is a foreshadowing of the Rejection by anyone who had accepted this Blessed Bread as the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity and then goes onto Reject this Blessed Bread as Satan enters him.  In Hebrews 6:4-6 –

4 For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, since on their own they are crucifying again the Son of God and are holding him up to contempt.

The Author of Hebrews is saying in no uncertain terms that once you have “tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, …”
the Author is clearly alluding to the Holy Eucharist and becoming a partaker of the divine nature.

If you first believe the very words of Jesus and affirm it by declaring Yes to the Body of Christ when accepting the Holy Eucharist, and then deny the Body, Blood Soul and Divnity of the Holy Eucharist, then you have accepted His Body as Sola Symbolica.  This usually leads to these former Catholics becoming the most Anti-Catholics on the planet.  Why?  The answer is “Satan made him do it.”
